The Nature Center
If you look at the map you can see that there are
many trails you can walk on at this sanctuary.
We wanted to see the Boardwalk on the River Trail.
Climb the steps and walk through the arch and you'll be on the Universal Trail (see map).
We turned right and got onto the Beech Trail.

We could've taken the South Cove Trail but decided to go
further and get onto the Tower Trail to walk on the highest
point on the sanctuary.

I love this sculpture of a heron.
If you're ever in the Knoxville area you must take
a break and see this Wildlife Sanctuary and Learning
Center. Make some time to take a walk,
even if only a short one.
